For the 2023 Volleyball OHSAA tournament Continental High will return to the Van Wert DIV district. Northwest Ohio is rich in DIV volleyball talent as 3 of the final four teams (Crestview Van Wert District, Monroeville Willard district, and New Bremen Wapakoneta District). New Bremen beat Monoreville in the state finals. The Northwest District has 6 districts again this year. The Van Wert District has not changed from 2022. It includes all the Putnam County League teams and teams from 4 other conferences. With 12 teams in the District there will be 4 byes to the Sectional finals.
Sectional Semifinals (October 17) and Finals (October 19) will be hosted by the better seeded team. District Semifinals (October 25) and finals (October 26) will be held at Van Wert High School
